Lifebit joins international business leaders with French President Emmanuel Macron at Choose France Summit 2023

On 16 May 2023, Lifebit’s Chief Executive Officer Dr Maria Dunford and Chief Business Development Officer Thorben Seeger participated in the Choose France Summit at the Château de Versailles in Paris. This annual event is dedicated to promoting economic investment and supporting growth, innovation and employment across France.

Established by French President Emmanuel Macron, the summit brings together investors and leaders from multinational companies with the French government to accelerate economic activity in France.

Dr Maria Dunford, Lifebit CEO, said: “It was a privilege to represent Lifebit at this prestigious event in France and to highlight the economic value of biotechnology and the potential of precision medicine with business and political leaders.”

Following the summit, President Macron has announced major new investments to strengthen health research in France and accelerate the transition from research to care.
