Alex Thomson is the Global Director of Sales Engineering at Lifebit. At Lifebit, he works with pharma and biotech clients to design and deliver clinicogenomic data/data solutions to accelerate projects across the entire drug development continuum - from novel target discovery to pharmacovigilance. Alex has spent the last 6 years delivering AI, NLP, and patient data solutions to healthcare and pharma partners across the globe. Since 2020, he’s worked most closely with preclinical discovery teams within the oncology space. Prior to entering the tech bio space, Alex developed in-vitro micropropagation technology for a Canadian startup. Alex has co-authored a National Research Council of Canada (NRC) grant and 2 papers examining cell adhesion complexes and cell migration
